The conference and exhibition will be held at Plaza Centre-Ville which is centrally located between historic Old Montréal and vibrant New Montréal - moments from some of the area's most notable sites including the Old Port and Parc Mount-Royal and steps away from countless cafes, bars, restaurants, shopping malls and hotels. Plaza Centre-Ville has underground parking and is directly connected to the Square Victoria subway station with an indoor access.

The website www.3dbody.tech/cap is dedicated to the proceedings of the serie of 3DBODY.TECH Conferences and Workshops on 3D Body Scanning & Processing Technologies and their contents.
The abstracts and papers of about 400 publications included in the proceedings of all conferences and workshops are available at the website and accessible from its different sections. The full papers are available for download as single documents (PDF), the proceedings books are available for purchase (digital form or printed book).

December 2, 2016 - 3DBST2016 Conference successfully closed

The 7th International Conference and Exhibition on 3D Body Scanning Technologies was successfully closed in Lugano on the evening of 1st December 2016.

247 participants from 35 different countries attended/visited the two days conference and exhibition in Lugano, Switzerland.

The conference started with an opening session with the presentations and announcements of world and international premieres from 7(+1) manufacturers.
The very dense program included 14 technical sessions, with about 60 technical and scientific presentations. The topics discussed regarded: medical scanning systems & medical applications, body scanning for apparel, anthropometric studies & surveys, digital anthropometry & ergonomics, body scanning methods & technologies, body modeling & processing, and others.

The conference was accompanied by an exhibition where 18 manufactures were presenting and demonstrating their body scanning systems and/or software solutions. The major technologies were represented: white-light scanning, laser scanning, active photogrammetry, passive photogrammetry, RGB-D sensing, application software, 3D printing solutions. The application sectors were also various: apparel, medicine, health, anthropometry, 3D printing and others.

The conference confirmed also this year to be the most important international event focused on 3D body scanning & processing technologies.
