Conference and exhibition venue

The conference and exhibition will be held at Plaza Centre-Ville (by Evo Vieux-Montreal) which is centrally located between historic Old Montréal and vibrant New Montréal - moments from some of the area's most notable sites including the Old Port and Parc Mount-Royal and steps away from countless cafes, bars, restaurants, shopping malls and hotels. Plaza Centre-Ville has underground parking and is directly connected to the Square Victoria subway station with an indoor access.

The dual-track technical sessions and the parallel technical exhibition will take place conveniently in adjacent rooms of the Regence Ballroom on the floor level C (2 floors below the lobby). The wide Regence Foyer in front of the rooms' entrances will ideally serve for breaks and networking between sessions.

Access and Travel

Montreal's Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau International Airport (airport code YUL) is serviced by over 200 U.S. and international direct flights per day, keeping the city within easy reach of most business travellers.
Only 72 km (45 miles) separates the city from the U.S. border and all major North American cities are within few hours flight: Boston 1h12, Toronto 1h20, New York 1h26, Chicago 2h25, Atlanta 3h12, Dallas 4h09, Denver 4h10, Las Vegas 4h55, Vancouver 5h27, Mexico City 5h30, Los Angeles 5h55.
Montreal is also easily accessed from major European cities: London 6h35, Paris 6h40, Madrid 6h55, Amsterdam 6h45, Frankfurt 7h02, Zurich 7h10, Rome 8h00, Moscow 9h35.

Montreal Downtown is reached with a 20-minute ride from the airport by taxi or on the city's express shuttle bus service 747 Express Bus (www.stm.info).
Compact and pedestrian-friendly, Montreal is easily navigable by foot or by public transit (bus and metro), both offering safe and clean ways to explore. The affordable and reliable subway system can be accessed via the city's Underground Pedestrian Network: two of the four main lines connect downtown to major tourism sites as well as to numerous bus stops and train stations.

Hotels and Accommodation

Montreal boasts a wide variety of hotels for every taste, budget or needs. There are almost 27,000 hotel rooms on the island of Montreal with 15,000 located right downtown. Each neighbourhood has its own distinctive hotel type. For example, the major business hotels are located in Downtown, whereas the Old Port of Montreal has many charming boutique hotels.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) and VISA Information

Most visitors need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to travel to Canada, some may need an entry visa and some may only need their valid passport.

Participants requiring a formal letter of invitation to enable them to make their arrangements to participate at the conference should contact the conference office.
